For some years Agra was the capital city of the Mughals in the 16th century. Located just 2.5 km away from Taj Mahal the fort is spread out in a 94 acre land. It is made of red sandstone and was once a pride of the Mughal kings. The intricate carvings filled with coloured glass once held precious gems in them. Each pillar was exquisitely valuable.
